  • A screening of Ruth Coggin's animation Tommy in the Trench - this short film is inspired by Ruth's grandfather's experience of the Great War and she has painstakingly recreated a trench and surroundings to create this short animation.
  • In January 2015, Cowper and Newton Museum intend to re-enact the rugby match that took place 100 years ago between Olney Rugby Club and the British Armed Forces. This will be enacted in period kits.
  • Poetry and Songs Evening bringing together poetry from WW1 and also from modern day poets communicating aspects of conflict and warfare. This will be an evening of reflection, commemoration and celebration of our Armed Forces achievements.
